Teach at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Summer Institutes
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University has a long history of offering education abroad programs for students with a presence in Florence, Italy for over 50 years and welcomes new opportunities for students and faculty in 2025 with the official opening of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Paris Center. Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State faculty are welcome and encouraged to submit a course proposal to teach at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Florence Center or Paris Center for the Summer Institute programs. Both programs offer a wide range of courses from multiple Colleges and all Colleges are welcome to propose new courses, whether the College is housed on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ or a regional campus.
Get Involved
All Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University faculty members are eligible to teach at either the Florence or Paris Summer Institutes. The call for course proposals becomes live one year in advance, typically in late April, with a deadline to submit the proposal and all relevant supplemental materials in July.
Faculty can propose to teach an existing course or work with their department to develop a special topics course within their discipline.
If you are interested in teaching at any of the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Summer Institutes, please contact your department chair. All course proposals must be approved by the Dean of your College before being submitted to the Office of Global Education.
