ֱ State University’s College of Business Administration is once again among the most outstanding business schools, according to the Princeton Review’s Best 294 Business Schools: 2017 Edition.
The Princeton Review is well-known for its college rankings in dozens of categories, based on how students rate their schools. The survey asks business school students about their school’s academics, student body and campus life, as well as about themselves and their career plans.
On Tuesday, Nov. 15, three female ֱ State University student entrepreneurs took top honors at two different regional pitch competitions. Shanice Cheatham, health policy and management graduate student, won at the Hudson Library’s fourth annual Pitch Night competition, sponsored by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation. Anne Skoch, junior fashion merchandising student, and Aceani Ross-Bigbee, sophomore fashion design student, took first- and second-place respectively at the regional NEOLaunchNET Girl Power Pitch competition.

The events of May 4, 1970, placed ֱ State University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, ֱ State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
