Kathy Zarges, assistant dean of Advising, Student Success and Licensure for the College of Education, Health, and Human Services, was awarded the 2023 Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Academic Support and Advising Association Advising Administrator award (KASADA). The Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Academic Support and Advising Association (KASADA) is an allied member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).
KASADA provides professional development for academic advisors and student affairs professionals at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University through internal and external collaborations. It seeks to enhance the academic advising profession by providing opportunities for networking, peer support, and the exchange of ideas to promote student learning. KASADA also supports the field of academic advising through research, publication and the recognition of excellence in academic advising.
NACADA is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators, and students working to enhance the educational development of students.
