A limited number of $50 tickets for Nobel Peace Prize winner and Boston University Professor Elie Wiesel’s appearance at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University has been released and is available for purchase. Wiesel will speak at the second Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Presidential Speaker Series on Thursday, April 11, at 7 p.m., at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus. Tickets for the available chair back seats and floor seats can be purchased through an online ticket system at www.kent.edu/ElieWiesel.
Wiesel’s personal experience of the Holocaust led him to use his talents as an author, teacher and storyteller to advocate for human rights and peace in the world. He has worked on behalf of oppressed people much of his adult life.
