Financial Aid
At Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's Columbiana County Campuses, we understand that college is a big investment. With tuition as low as $3,745 per semester and a variety of generous scholarships, we make a University education accessible to everyone, and we are committed to helping students and their families access grants, loans and scholarships to pay for college.
Here are some things you can do in the meantime to prepare:
- if you do not have one already. Students and contributors must each have their own account(s).
- Make sure you have your Social Security number (unless you are a citizen of the Freely Associated States).
- Gather your 2023 tax records
- Gather records of your assets, including any child support received; current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts; and net worth of investments, business, and farms.
- Make sure you know your contributor's information if applicable. You will need their name, date of birth, Social Security number (if they have one), and email address.
- Know what schools you would like to send your FAFSA information to (if you are a high school senior) or your current school's name.
If you haven't already done so, there’s still time to submit the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and receive financial aid for the school year. The 2024-25 academic year includes Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025. The FAFSA should be completed well before all payment deadlines to ensure funds are available to assist with your bill.
The following table provides a summary of key dates for FAFSA completion for the current and upcoming years, and what tax information you will provide.
Semester you plan to attend | You will submit this FAFSA | You can submit the FAFSA | Using income and tax information |
---|---|---|---|
Summer 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025 | 2024-2025 | Now | 2022 |
Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Spring 2026 | 2025-2026 | Now | 2023 |
If you believe Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State should have received your FAFSA, please log in and check the status of your FAFSA on the FAFSA dashboard now.
There are a few reasons why your FAFSA may not have been sent to us:
- Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s school code was not provided on your FAFSA.
- The incorrect 2023-24 FAFSA was submitted instead of the 2024-25 FAFSA.
- Consent is required but was not provided on the FAFSA.
- Required signatures are missing from the FAFSA.
