College campuses across the nation are facing a serious problem and, unfortunately, the numbers do not lie. The issue of power-based personal violence (sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking) is an issue of significant concern on college campuses, including Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University. Nationally, women have a 1-in-6 statistical probability of being sexually assaulted (1-in-33 for men) and college women are four times as likely to be sexually assaulted as are other women. These statistics are simply unacceptable and we believe we can do better at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University. 

The president of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University is the CEO of an organization of more than 38,000 students, 6,600 faculty and staff, more than 247,000 alumni and an operating budget of $645 million.

The Division of Finance and Administration is responsible for the financial, physical and human operations of the university, along with maintaining a safe and peaceful campus environment.

The Council, serving as the University's advisory body for information technology, shall work in collaboration with the University community to lead the advancement of scholarship through the appropriate integration of technology.

The University Requirements Curriculum Committee (URCC), a subcommittee of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s Education Policy Committee (EPC), is charged with conducting an assessment of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's general education program (Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Core) by June 2019.

The mission of the Office of General Counsel (OGC) is to advance Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's strategic goals in a manner that protects and preserves the legal, ethical and financial integrity of the university. The Office of General Counsel encourages open communication among administrators, trustees, officers, faculty, staff and student leaders in working to reduce legal risks for the university.
