Girls In Aviation Day
Girls in Aviation Day is a 4 hour event targeted towards (but not limited to) young girls ages 8-18 that exposes them to the endless possibilities the world of aviation offers.
The 2024 Girls in Aviation Day will take place October 12, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Airport.
Attendees will participate in numerous activities at several stations throughout the day. Participants have the chance to fly drones, try out a flight simulator, and conduct a pre-flight check inside a real plane.
Lunch is provided and accompanied by a guest speaker present to talk about her experiences in the industry.
Cost: $10 per attendee
