Writing Across Borders
Leading the Trading Stanzas, Writing Across Borders exhibit are co-founders David Hassler, director of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s Wick Poetry Center and a former Ohio Poet of the Year, and Valora Renicker, associate professor of Visual Communication Design at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University. Their current exhibit, "Writing Across Borders," uses poetry, videos and graphic designs to celebrate the diverse cultural identities of Akron's North Hill neighborhood. The exhibit opened on Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Taylor Hall Gallery at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, and runs through Thursday, Feb. 21. (Chuck Crow/The Plain Dealer)
