Faculty Use Mobile Devices to Monitor Student Mental Wellness

Ruoming Jin, Ph.D., of the Department of Computer Science partnered with Deric Kenne, Ph.D., of the College of Public Health in an exploratory research effort to develop a computer learning framework using cell phones to monitor student mental wellness while protecting personal information. This innovative 18-month pilot-study is funded by a $150,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.
