Biography
Dr. Katherine (Katie) McNamara Manning (PhD '23) is a Postdoctoral Scholar of Research Development at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Environmental Science Design and Research Institute. She holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the Department of Biological Sciences at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University. Katie is also an accredited Green Roof Professional.
Her research has focused on biodiversity ecology in managed systems, with interests in investigating the effect of frame-of-reference on scientific findings. She is experienced in the areas of beneficial insects, native bees, insect biodiversity, living architecture, community and urban ecology.
