Political Science Majors Gain Experience Interning
Internships are an increasingly important part of the college experience, giving students the opportunity to hone professional skills, built their resumés, and network. Political Science majors at KSU have exceptional and unique opportunities to intern in our own semester-long, 15-credit-hour CPII and WPNI programs. Students also intern as part of the Geneva study abroad program. Additionally, many of our students earn 3 credits interning right here in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ by finding internships suited to particular career goals and enrolling in POL 40992.
This summer, we have majors interning with State and Federal Communications, Inc. (Akron), the Michael Wager for Ohio campaign, the Ohio Democratic Party, the Republican Party of Cuyahoga County, CBS News, Congresswoman Debbie Dinged (Michigan’s 12th district), two Ohio House campaigns (McDowall in the 36th and Lee in the 38th district), the International Institute of Akron, Connick Law, and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman.
Congrats to all of our majors developing their career paths both locally and abroad!
