Training

The rigorous 740 hours of state-mandated training and fieldwork with an additional 110 hours of at the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ campus Police Academy are driven by the standards mandated by the State of Ohio.  The guidelines for this training are set by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission (OPOTC). As part of the approval process, OPOTC certified that the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ campus Police Academy complies with all statutory requirements (topics, hours, facilities and process).
