Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Department of Physics hosts eclipse planetarium shows and more

On April 8, 2024, the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Department of Physics will host four planetarium shows at 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 4 pm.  Embark on your own stargazing adventure and join us underneath our awe-inspiring 40-foot dome for any of our three planetarium shows taking place April 8 – the day of the total solar eclipse. 

Student guides will take guests on a captivating journey through space that explores the constellations and how to navigate the night sky.  In addition, the Department of Physics will have faculty and students available for demonstrations and activities for young and old.  For more information about Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's Eclipse Day events see /eclipse.

Show Times: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.
Duration: 45 minutes per show
Location: Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University Planetarium, 108 Smith Hall
Capacity: 150 people per show (first-come, first-served)
