Jeffery Huston, Ed.D., AT, FNS
Biography
Dr. Huston came to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State in 2007 after spending the previous 4 years at Heidelberg University as an Assistant Professor of Athletic Training. He served the KSU Athletic Training program as the Clinical Education Coordinator from 2007 to 2013. From 2013 to 2019 he served as the undergraduate and graduate program coordinator. Dr. Huston earned two BS degrees from Heidelberg University in Biology and Sports Medicine, an MS from West Virginia University in Athletic Training and an Doctorate of Education with a concentration in Leadership and Administration from Capella University. Dr. Huston’s clinical experience includes 6 years with college baseball, 4 years with college basketball and 2 years of college soccer. Clinically, Dr. Huston has a great deal of experience in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of upper extremity injuries in throwing athletes. In time away from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, Dr. Huston lives with his wife, Michelle, an elementary school teacher and his three boys. Dr. and Mrs. Huston coach youth soccer as well as little league baseball. As a family they spend much of their time camping, hiking and having family adventures.
