Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University's Minor in American Sign Language (ASL) offers students the opportunity to develop proficiency in ASL while gaining an understanding of Deaf culture. The program focuses on building communication skills in ASL and exploring the social, historical, and cultural contexts of the Deaf community. This minor is an excellent complement to a variety of majors, preparing students for careers in fields such as education, social work, healthcare, and communication, where ASL skills and cultural competency can be valuable assets.
