Andy Vitale
Biography
Andy Vitale, M.S., began teaching in the User Experience Program at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University as an adjunct instructor after he graduated from the program himself in 2016. He also has undergrad degrees in Information Technology and Graphic Design. Andy enjoys teaching a variety of courses in the program including User Experience Design in Practice, User Experience Design Leadership and Accessibility Evaluation and Universal Design.
Besides teaching, Andy is the VP of Product Design and Content at Quicken Loans and throughout his career has guided start-ups and Fortune-ranked companies to solve problems through a user-centered approach. He is passionate about giving back to the design community, a prolific speaker and has appeared on multiple podcasts to discuss User Experience, including User Defenders. Andy is also co-authoring a book called Designing for Safety (Sense and Respond Press, 2021).
