The Mindful Mile and Taste of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State return to Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus

This fall, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University welcomes back The Mindful Mile and Taste of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, so mark your calendars for Sept. 23, 2022. Both events run in tandem from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Taste of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, which takes place on the Risman Plaza Student Green, offers food samples to showcase delicious culinary offerings from around campus. After trying items at the Taste of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, stop by the University Culinary Services booth to grab your Mindful Mile ticket and a bag for giveaways.

The Mindful Mile is a 1-mile walk around the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ campus that is open to faculty, staff and students. There are several stops along the route where participants will engage with various departments to learn about wellness and earn a stamp on their ticket. Return your completed ticket at the Taste of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State to be entered to win a prize.

There is no need to register for either event. Ask a coworker to join you and come whenever you can between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Employee Wellness looks forward to seeing familiar faces at their Hydration Station stop on the Mindful Mile!

If you have questions about these events, contact Sarah Korzan, Assistant Director and Registered Dietitian, University Culinary Services, at sburns19@kent.edu or (330) 672-3954.
