More than 500 Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University volunteers are preparing to welcome incoming freshmen to the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus tomorrow morning. Move-in day starts at 8 a.m. and runs through 7 p.m.
Incoming freshman and their parents will have the opportunity to meet Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State President Beverly Warren and the university cabinet members outside Eastway Center beginning at 9 a.m.
Each year, volunteers with Movers and Groovers help students carry belongings to their new residence halls.
The Movers and Groovers program is part of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s Welcome Weekend, an orientation program that will run from Aug. 24-27. Welcome Weekend includes activities and events to encourage students to explore the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State community and provides a smooth transition to the university environment.
