The School of Fashion is pleased to announce that our Fashion Merchandising major is now part of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s 3+3 Law School Program.
Are you interested in the various legal issues in the fashion industry, such as fast-fashion and environmental impacts, sustainability efforts, copyright infringements and counterfeiting of designs, production labor concerns, and other supply chain challenges that are often associated with the fashion industry?
As a Fashion Merchandising student, you’ll develop competencies and an in-depth understanding of the business side of fashion, along with critical thinking skills throughout your major coursework — essential skills for future fashion lawyers. At Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, choosing the Fashion Merchandising to Juris Doctor degree pathway will give you a skillset you need to succeed. The collaborative program offers a seamless, sequential system to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State and a Juris Doctor degree from a well-respected law school in the Northeast Ohio region:

Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s 3+3 law pathway programs (B.S. to J.D.) allow students to shave a year off the typical seven-year plan to complete both degrees. Interested students can elect the Fashion Merchandising-to-Law School pathway program during or before their freshman year and work closely with their College of the Arts academic adviser to ensure they are on a track to complete required undergraduate courses over the course of three years. This allows students to get both degrees within six years, saving both time and money.
