All DSCI students are invited to a meeting THIS Wednesday, February 6 at 3:45pm in MSB 121 to discuss the possibility of a Digital Sciences Student Group. If there is enough interest, DSCI will help you find an advisor and get started. Student groups on campus often do these types of things:
- Create social events for members (movie nights, etc.)
- Present speakers
- Host career-specific events/coffees
- Work on service-learning projects (Habitat for Humanity, MedWish, volunteering at community events, etc.)
- March in the Homecoming Parade
- Start networking with local employers
- Present internship opportunities
- Focus publicity on the degree and its capable alumni
