Walks and Talks Resume This May With an Art Walk

The popular lunchtime Walk and Talk events will resume this May. Lace up and join the Employee Wellness team and a representative from the Office of the University Architect for a two-part ArtWalk Walk and Talk series scheduled for May 17 and May 22

The walk will visit different pieces of art on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus. Each participant will receive an Art Walk booklet, a guide of 29 outdoor art points of interest located in Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and on the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus. In the words of the guide, “You’ll find expressions of the artistic spirit of the city of Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University, quite literally on every corner of the town and the campus.â€

Thursday, May 17.

Tuesday, May 22.

The walks begin at the Black Squirrel Statue between the University Library and the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Student Center (Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Campus). Meet at noon with a departure time of 12:10 p.m. and return just before 1 p.m.  Employees participating in the Wellness Your Way wellness program will receive 10 Tier Two points for each walk. Join in for one or both of the Art Walks, as each walk will visit different locations.
