The 12th annual Main Street Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Art and Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, June 2, from noon-9 p.m. in downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. The event is presented by Main Street Ñý¼§Ö±²¥, and proceeds will benefit this nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion, beautification and preservation of downtown Ñý¼§Ö±²¥. The Art and Wine Festival will feature local artists, a variety of live entertainment and several Ohio wineries at the Hometown Bank Plaza and surrounding streets.
Main Street Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ is now accepting artist applications in the following categories: watercolor, oil/acrylic, clay, photography, sculpture, graphics/drawing, mixed media and others. Applications must be submitted along with photo or digital examples of original art, and the $75 application fee, by the Jan. 31 deadline. Student application fee is $35, and a copy of student ID is required for consideration. Applicants who make this initial deadline will be given priority consideration in booth placement. The second-round application deadline is March 30. All artists are encouraged to apply, and application fees will be returned to those not selected by the jury. Applications received after March 30 will be considered based on category needs.
