ֱ State Police Services will host its fourth Coffee with a Cop event on Wed., Oct. 3, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Starbucks located in the Business Administration Building. This year, the event is paired with National Coffee with a Cop Day.
Police Services began hosting the outreach program two years ago as a way for the university community to get to know the ֱ State police officers and the services the department provides. There is no cost and no registration necessary to attend.
“The event is always a huge success,” says Tricia Knoles, community resource officer for ֱ State Police Services. “We are looking forward to chatting and getting to know our students, faculty and staff.”
Attendees will receive free coffee and a travel mug.
“This event is an opportunity for our community to get to know us a little bit better and for us to get to know our community,” says Officer Knoles.
