Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University’s Division of Information Services has finalized an agreement with Adobe Systems Inc. that will save Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students in excess of $1 million per year.
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students are now able to purchase Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions for only $75 per year. The current student plan for the same package ranges from $240 to $360 per year.
"Information Services could not be more excited to offer this incredible savings to our students," says Jay Frye, Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State’s director of service management.
Likewise, faculty and staff members will be able to purchase the software subscription for their personal computers for the same discounted rate.
Additionally, there is a significant savings to the university. Adobe Creative Cloud for university-owned computers – faculty, staff and labs – now cost $100 per subscription per year. This is half the cost that departments are currently paying per subscription.
