The Alternative Licensure Professional Development Institute at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State serves new teachers who completed the Ohio Department of Education requirements for an Alternative Resident Educator License. These teachers then have two years to complete 15-18 credit hours, depending on their area of licensure, from a professional development institute approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. This fully online program has 7-week courses sequenced to allow teachers to complete the required courses in one calendar year.
