Biography
My educational background includes a B.S. in Nutrition from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University and a M.S. in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. I have been a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist in Ohio since the year 1999 and am an active member in both the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the Greater Akron Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I have a professional background of being a clinical pediatric dietitian at Akron Children’s Hospital with a focus on metabolic disorders, oncology, weight management and outpatient counseling. I was an adjunct instructor in nutrition at The University of Akron and Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State University for ten years prior to joining Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State as a Full Time NTT faculty member in 2018. I currently serve as a Lecturer and am the Director of the Combined Master of Science/Dietetic Internship Program. As a Lecturer, I teach courses exclusive to the Dietetic Internship Program as well as World Food Customs and Nutrition and Lifecycle Nutrition courses.
