World Music Society
The mission of the World Music Society is to foster appreciation for a rich tapestry of global and diverse musical traditions within our campus and local community. Our aim is to create a platform for individuals passionate about ethnomusicology, encouraging educational exploration across various music sub-disciplines. Additionally, we strive to support ethnomusicological and world music initiatives, including conferences, performances, festivals, educational outreach, and related ventures, through fundraising and financial assistance.
We are a graduate and undergraduate music society that seeks to educate both musicians and non-musicians on world music.The information contained on student organization webpages was submitted by each student organization during the student organization registration process.
