We invite high school students and their families to visit the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for Explore Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Chemistry Day on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. High school juniors and seniors come from all over Ohio and neighboring states for Explore Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Chemistry Day!
At Explore Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Chemistry Day, our chemistry and biochemistry Faculty will discuss our curriculum, job prospects with our degrees and research opportunities available to undergraduates. Current Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State chemistry and biochemistry majors will provide insight into Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State college life. We will participate in science demonstrations and take a tour of our state-of-the-art instructional and research laboratories. Guests registered by February 4 will be entered into a raffle for awesome prizes! The visit will conclude with a question-and-answer breakout session over lunch for each concentration or degree program where attendees will have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with faculty and students about the field of study they are most interested in.

Current Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State students who are considering chemistry and biochemistry majors are also welcome and should contact the department directly to register at chemug@kent.edu.
