
Janice Johnson
Biography
Janice is a licensed mental health and substance use therapist. She joined CAPS in 2022. In her current role as Mental Health Provider-Community Engagement, she facilitates mental health programs, education, and wellness initiatives to the university community. She additionally provides therapeutic services to students. She has clinical experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in community behavioral health agencies where she provided both individual and group therapies.  She has experience in clinical supervision and management of a substance use program for adolescents and adults. Additionally, she has experience in providing staff training specific to multicultural topics, suicidality, and substance use disorders.
