Since our doors first opened in 1910, many family members have proudly shared the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State alumni experience, and the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship supports our family of Flashes!
If you have a family member who will be an incoming freshman in the fall, they may be a great candidate to receive this scholarship. Awarded to an academically talented incoming freshman attending the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ campus who has a parent, step-parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle who graduated from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State, it is the hope of the alumni association that this award helps family members of alumni – legacies – continue the Golden Flash tradition.
To be considered for the scholarship, individuals must complete the Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State Online Student Financial Aid Scholarship Application, as well as the Undergraduate Application for Admissions, by the Feb. 1 deadline. Completing the application does not guarantee the candidate will receive the scholarship.
The Legacy Scholarship is one way we help take care of our Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State family; each of us are, after all, #FlashesForever! And to all of you with incoming legacies, rest assured we will be one of the first to welcome them “home!â€
