The following new members have been appointed to serve on the National Alumni Board of Directors for terms commencing July 1:
Louis Berroteran, ’83, of Silver Lake, Ohio, is the president and managing member of The Berroteran Group, LLC. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State in 1983.
David Dees, Ph.D. ’00, of Lisbon, Ohio, has been appointed the faculty representative. David is an associate professor of Cultural Foundations at Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in cultural foundations in 2000 from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State.
Jordyn Kovolyan, ’14, M.B.A. ’20, of Lakewood, Ohio, is the senior manager of business development for the Cleveland Cavaliers. She earned a Bachelor of Science in educational studies and a Master of Business Administration from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State in 2014 and 2020, respectively.
Nancy Murphy, ’80, of Perryville, Maryland, served in the U.S. Army as a military intelligence and field artillery officer and retired as an elementary school educator with more than 20 years of service. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in art history from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State in 1980.
Stephanie Sweany, ’05, of Canton, Ohio, is the executive director of the Stark County Hunger Task Force. She earned her Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies from Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State in 2005.
