Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Me
I’m from Canton, Ohio. I went to school at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and earned bachelor’s degrees in writing as well as Chinese. While I was an undergraduate there, I was able to study abroad twice—once to London, England, and once to Chengdu, China. I loved living in China so much that I moved there right after graduation. I worked as an English teacher for three years in a small city called Zhenjiang (famous for their delicious black vinegar!). Now, in addition to English, I am also fluent in Mandarin.
Living abroad allowed me to learn a lot and have many wonderful experiences. Moving to a whole new country can be intimidating, but it’s worth it! I’m excited to be able to help you on your journey to United States and hope you can experience all the great things Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State has to offer.
What I Love Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State
Ñý¼§Ö±²¥ State takes care of its international students and hosts a lot of fun events, like International Cook-off and Cultural Café. Not only do you get to experience U.S. culture, but you also get to learn about the other international students’ home cultures, too. Also, we have the cutest black squirrels running around on campus!
Fun Facts
Every country I go to, I try to climb at least one mountain there. If you have any cool mountains or parks in your hometown or country, let me know!
